Lillet snuggled up to him and closed her eyes even though she didn't want to. She wanted to stay awake with him always and simply look into his eyes. Why was it going to be so hard for them? Why couldn't things be easier? These thoughts ran through her head as well as her focussing on not talking in her sleep. She had grown embarrest now that she knew she did it. She smiled as she finally felt calm against Jonathan's body. She was finally happy. She couldn't wait for her mom to get home. She was going to simply love Jonathan. As she drifted further into sleep she finally said one more thing before falling completely into a dream thing. "I love you Jonathan." she said softly, almost a whisper.

Jonathan watched as Lillet succumbed to sleep. No matter the several times he’d watched her sleep without her knowledge, this right here was more precious and special. She knew he was just here beside her, and he hoped that would ease the disturbing dreams and restless sleeptalking that she’d been having. She had slept quite uneasily the past few days that he hoped his presence would calm her down, and make her sleep peacefully.

A smile softened his face when he heard her say she loved him. “I love you more, Lillet Hale,” he whispered back as he brushed a stray strand of hair from her forehead. He had been waiting for Lillet all his life without knowing it. And now that he has her, he was not going to let anything come between them. He was lost in this train of thought when something clicked in his head. He felt ashamed for going behind Lillet’s back to do this, but he needed to know for sure.

He glanced at Lillet’s peaceful figure sleeping soundly beside him. The talking wouldn’t start till later. For now, it’s probably safe to sneak out for a quick peek. He needed to know. He gently eased himself out from her bed without making a sound and made his way outside her room, and down the stairs. The vision his brother Micheal had shown him was of a basement filled with slayer stuff. Big knives, tough ropes and chains, spears, guns with silver bullets, and modern torches.

He had found the basement in no time, and hesitated. Does he really want to know? Does it matter? If what Micheal showed him was indeed true, what now? Would it change the way he feels towards Lillet? A million questions ran through his head, and Jonathan finally decided to give in. He opened the door, and knew right away this was the same place his brother had shown him. Jonathan didn’t want to believe it at first. Lillet was groomed to be one of them. Lillet was groomed to kill him. He wondered if things between them would go any more downhill from here. There were just too many obstacles along the way.

But Jonathan knew what he had to do though. As long as Lillet still needs him, he was going to stay. Come hell or high water, till his death, he was going to fight for what they have.

Lillet's sleep was peaceful for most of the night up until about three in the morning. She began to toss and turn in her sleep, another bad dream was coming. She tossed to one side of her bed and then to the other trying to get away from the nightmare.

She was in a room. A dark room. She was standing in front of Jonathan who was on the ground, beaten and torn. She ran to him and tried to help him up. It was then that she heard a voice, a voice that she knew all to well. "Lillet! Get away from that monster!"

It was her father. She stood up quickly and looked at her father who was holding a gun in her hand. Lillet was shocked. Her mother then appeared from behind her mother and walked over to picked her up and pulled her away from Jonathan's side. Lillet shook her head an squirmed in her mother's arms to get free. "Jonathan run! Get out of here."

Jonathan could barely move. He was stuck trapped, like an animal in a net. She tried to free herself from her with little ease. Nothing was working. She then looked at her father who had thingyed the gun and was ready to fire. "We cannot rest until all of you have been destroyed." he said smiling and evil smile. Lillet finally had broken free and was now running to Jonathan. Jonathan had managed to stand on his feet and then a gun shot was heard. Everything went black.

Lillet tossed in her sleep and shouted Jonathan's name. "Jonathan! Jonathan run! Get out!" she said tears welling in her sleep. She rose from her bed quickly. "Jonathan?" She looked at her clock. It was 6:30 am. She layed back down and took in a few deep breaths.

The night was definitely not what he had expected it'd be. Lillet's dreams or nightmares seem to be becoming erratic and scarier judging from the way she was tossing and turning on the bed. He had settled back on his side of the bed, brows furrowed as Lillet continue to call his name out in her sleep. She was perspiring, and Jonathan wanted so bad to wake her up but he kept himself.

Lillet finally woke up just as the sun's rays started to stream through her window. "I'm here, love," he replied as he put his hand on her forehead. She didn't seem to have noticed him right away. It must have been that bad. "Are you all right? You've been having really bad dreams. I was worried," he said.

His voice was controlled yet a trace of worry was evident in it. After confirming his brother's suspicions about Lillet's parents, Jonathan was now concerned for both of their lives.

Lillet looked at him and nodded. "I'm fine. I just had this horrible dream." she thought about the nightmare that she had and decided that she didn't quite want to think about it. She shook her head and looked at him. "It's nothing...I'm okay...I promise." she kissed his forhead and slowly got up walking to her bathroom to chnage into some work out clothes for her sparring session with Landon. "What are you doing today?"

He sighed when Lillet dismissed her dream as nothing. Jonathan knew it was not. He wanted so bad to know what she dreamed about but decided not to push it because Lillet seemed very upset. He waited as she went to her bathroom to change. "I'm just going to go home and change into some new clothes, and then nothing. I'm up for anything you want to do, if you want spend the day with me." He was giving her choices now. He didn't want to impose himself or anything on Lillet. Not now when there's so much at stake between them.

Lillet thought about how long it would take for them to finish sparring. She then shook her head as she thought about her dream. "I am meeting with an old friend in a clearing in the forest by a river for some...Excersise. You can meet us there at about ten." She walked back into her room and smiled as she got closer and closer to Jonathan. "Then you can have me all to yourself." she said now only a few inches away from him.

Exercise? He thought it may be just something to keep her fit and healthy. He nodded. Jonathan really didn't want to waste the day not spending time with Lillet, but he knew they needed time away from each other every now and then. He specifically wanted some time to think things over when it comes to the matter with her parents. There was no question about his feelings for Lillet. It was her parents he was most concerned with.

He smiled as Lillet walked closer to him. Jonathan closed the remaining space between them, and then reached his hand up to cup her cheeks. He bent his head to plant a soft and lingering kiss on her lips. "I'd like that," he whispered when he pulled back. "You stay safe. I'll find you," he told her. He knew the forest like the back of his hand. He actually think he knew where that specific clearing Lillet was talking about.
