Young Hearts To Hard To Control (Kambell's)

Carlisle sat in his office at his desk with his head barried in his hands. He had heard the news of what had happened in school. Something had happened that was not supposed to happen. Jonathan, one of the youngest had come into close contact with a human. A young female. He knew it wasn't right but what else was he to do? He could not tell Jonathan what to do, he wouldn't listen. Jonathan may be a good son but he had a mind of his own. As he looked at the clock he contimplated leaving his office to go "socialise" with the other doctors. He then remmebered that Dustin and Jessica were already on there way to his office to discuss the matter. They both would have things to say that Carlisle was sure of.

He stood up and paced the office now eager. He didn't know why but he knew something was up. Something not good was ahead in the future. This girl was something special, she was different and would change the way they all lived for good. He finally sat down at his desk and waited patiently for the two to show up.

Micheal was walking down the hallway of the the hospital and every one was staring at him. Micheal Kambell was none to be vary violent so they were all scared to see him. Micheal was walking to his Carlisle office. he looked in and he saw his dad was sitting at his desk. So Micheal walked into his dad's and the little bell on top of the door rang so loud.Micheal looked at his farther and said " Hay Carlisle i really need to tell you about something" he paused and then said " That happened schoole with my bro. As I sat down at the seat in front Carlisle desk.

Carlisle looked up to see Micheal walk in. He was well aware of what was going on with Jonathan. None the less he gestured for Micheal to take a seat. "I know about Jonathan Micheal." he said as Micheal sat down. "I know about Jonathan and this girl. I know how they met and I know that this will not end well." he said with a worried look crossing his face.

Carlisle stood up and walked over to the window and crossed his arms. He didn't have a gift of seeing that future but his hunches were never wrong. Whatever was going to happen was big and he needed to be ready as did the rest of his family. "All I know is that there is something about this girl that is not like the other students in your school. She is different...That much is certain."

Never before had Jessica been so afraid, so angry at her brother, in her life. When she heard what happened she ruined her poor steering wheel..."how am i suppose to explain THAT one to Carlisle?" she said to her self as she sped to the hospital. When she pulled in the parking lot she saw Jonathan's car and was so tempted to go and tear it to pieces, but to many people were around. Plus she'd probably wind up having to give him a ride to school...ugh. She made her way down the familar hallways, everyone stared. "they always stare you goof! have you looked in the mirror lately?" she reminded herself as she tried to keep a normal human speed. She didn't bother even saying hello to some of the nurses that greeted her, they were like a mini fan club of hers. She burst through Carlisle's door and her words were caught in her throat because Michael was there and she wasn't sure if he knew yet...and she didn't want to be the one that told him either. Would he react the same way she did? she shuttered thinking of what his reaction might be. "Hi Mike, Carlisle....where's Jon?"

Carlisle heard Jessica walk in and looked up to greet her. He smiled at her a kind smile that everyone knew all to well. "Jessica. Sit down. Jonathan hasn't gotten here yet. I believe he's still at school." he looked at the clock...He knew all to well that Jonathan would know about the meeting and want an explanation. I suggest we keep this on the downlow." He looked at Micheal.

"From what you saw of her at school...Did she look like any serious trouble?" he asked trying to gather details about this girl.

Jessica was somewhat annoyed at how cool Carlisle was taking all this. Didn't he realize they were now in danger??? She wasn't about to get up and leave just yet, she liked it here...she liked having a family, a home. She sat down and pondered Carlisle's questions. "Well she has talked to Jonathan before...and she did approach me...ME...on the first day. I mean she doesn't seem dangerious, but it could all just be a cover...what if she IS dangerous...like a slayer or something???" Jessica couldn't help it, she was so ticked off HER brother was the one to get everyone into trouble..."ugh i wish there was some way i could have drilled it into him to be more careful" she added scowling and turning to the wall. "and more of a loner type too..." she muttered under her breathe, but she well knew they both heard her.

Carlisle heard her all to well. He heard every word but didn't snap to cut her off. He waited for her to quiet down and then sighed. "We should not dwell on the fact that this has happened. What we can do is try and learn more about this Lillet Hale. I can look up her records and find out who her parents are and go from there. All I ask is that you guys watch what is going on and be sure to keep eachother safe. I don't think she is at all that much of a threat right now." he said quite certain of what he was talking about.

Micheal said " ok " and he left because he had to go to hang out with Dustin. As he walked to the door he said " see you guys at home " As he ran into the door and fell to the floor with a loud thod.

Carlisle watched as Micheal got up to walk out of the room. Not sure what to do about the situation he walked over to the window of his office that overlooked the parkinglot. Rosalie was already making her way to her car and he could see that she was in a stormy attitude. He felt bad for whoever had to deak with her for the next few hours. He knew what he needed to do, he needed to talk to Esme.

"Be careful Micheal. Wouldn't want you to get hurt slipping." he said trying to sound human by telling his son to be careful even though he knew that he wouldn't need to be careful. "Don't be to hard on Jonathan. He's just falling in love." said Cralisle in a soft and loving tone, like a father.
